Starting your career as an Associate Controls Engineer, you will work directly with Sr. Engineers in order to build your exposure in the technical aspects of electrical and automation engineering. You will design, automate, install, and maintain large - scale electronic components in order to meet or exceed our customers' needs. Located in Jermone, ID you will work alongside our experts in engineering, manufacturing, and the cheese and dairy industry.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities

Direct technical knowledge in the design, assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of PLC-based control systems

Own projects from idea to completion including participating in the commissioning and start up process both remotely and at the customer jobsite(s)

Assist Process Engineers in developing the control system scheme and equipment list

Lay out IO for controls panels and redline existing drawings

Test control panels and set up instruments and devices

Perform PLC and HMI programming, and custom reporting

Perform in-house program testing and customer Factory Acceptance Testing

Develop SOPs for the control system

Train the end user on operating the control system

Member of the on-call support team for existing customers' technical support

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

Currently pursuing or entry level with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Strong attention to detail

Strong demonstrated mechanical aptitude

Ability to relate technical knowledge to job-related responsibilities

Demonstrated problem-solving skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to multitask multiple projects

Self-starter and able to work well with others

Must be open to relocation

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

Travel up to 30%

Preferred:

Previous manufacturing, co-op or intern experience

Overall GPA of 2.5 or higher
