Advanced Systems Design is seeking a SQL ETL Developer for our client located in Montgomery, AL.

This position is onsite in Montgomery, AL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1.

Job Overview:
  • The SQL ETL Developer must be able to analyze, design, and develop ETL packages and SSRS reports for the DHR Dashboards project.
  • Require a consultant who can work with all aspects of Data Warehouse and DataMart for the project.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing, scheduling and implementing SSIS packages for loading data from multiple resources into SQL Server Database.
  • Assisting the Project Manager, Database Administrator, and Power BI developer with requirements gathering, migration planning, Security Access, and implementation of Dashboards.

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of IT experience focusing on:
    • Data warehousing, Data modeling, Data integration, Data Migration, ETL process and Business Intelligence
    • Data analysis and/or reporting along with strong knowledge of databases and related technologies (SQL, OLAP, etc.)
    • Analyzing the multiple source systems and based on the business requirements building the transformation rules to extract, transform and load the data into target systems
    • SQL Server database with ETL (SSIS, SSAS) and reporting tools (SSRS).
    • Developing complex SSRS reports using SSIS packages.
    • Implementing .Net, C# script tasks in SSIS
    • Deep understanding of the Data Warehousing SDLC and architecture of ETL, reporting, and BI tools.
    • Strong understanding of Data Modeling (Relational, dimensional, Star and Snowflake Schema), Data analysis, and implementations of Data warehousing
    • Strong skills in ETL mappings to load the data from various sources into the Data warehouse with different transformations like Source Qualifier, Expression, Lookup, Aggregate, Update Strategy and Joiner.
    • Developing stored procedures, functions, Views and Triggers, Complex queries using SQL Server and TSQL
    • Database Development and Analysis
    • Scheduling ETL and Data Refresh scripts
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills along with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills to undertake challenging jobs.
  • Able to work well independently and also in a team by helping to troubleshoot technology and business-related problems
  • Technical Skills:
    • Database - Microsoft SQL Server 2018
    • ETL tools - Microsoft SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
    • BI & Reporting - Microsoft Power BI Tools
    • Data Modeling - Logical Modeling, Physical Modeling, Relational Modeling, ER Diagrams, Dimensional Data Modeling (Star Schema Modeling, Snowflake Schema Modeling, FACT and Dimensions Tables), Entities, Attributes, Cardinality
    • SQL Stored procedures, Functions, Views, and triggers

Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
