How You Will Contribute:

Reporting to Senior Manager, Cyber Security, as the Product Security Analyst, work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure the security of our products from concept to post-launch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, CISO and PLM to identify potential security gaps and coordinate remediation efforts.

• Analyze security requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Coordinate internal and external penetration tests on our product portfolio.
• Review and analyze penetration test results, ensuring vulnerabilities are prioritized and remediated.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed security best practices into the product development lifecycle.
• Conduct threat modelling assessment
• Provide security training and resources to development teams.
• Automate product security assessment process.
• Coordinate with external researchers, partners, and customers on vulnerability disclosures.
• Serve as the primary security contact for all product-related security matters in India region.
• Stay abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends, and provide recommendations for improving product security posture.
• Mentor and guide team members on security best practices and procedures.
• Participate in security training and awareness programs to promote a culture of security throughout the organization.

The Must Haves:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security or compliance function.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GWAPT, or other industry-recognized credentials.
• Strong project management skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual pay range for this position is 72100 - 115,100 CAD

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
