Key Technical Skills:
PERIMETER SECURITY OPERATIONS - Level 3 Specialist
Duties include providing support to perimeter security infrastructure, which includes firewall, proxy and remote access systems; Investigation, documentation and resolution of outages to critical business systems that may be caused by firewall, proxy, or remote access systems; Escalation of issues to, and tracking of progress in conjunction with internal engineering teams, vendors, or other technical resource teams; Working incidents or projects beyond the scope of the level 2 team which may include scheduling multiple changes, software upgrades, or configuration activities to resolve.
Desired platforms/skills include: Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, tcpdump/pcap/wireshark experience, Checkpoint Gaia, Bluecoat Proxy, PaloAlto Networks firewalls, Zscaler ZIA, Cisco ASA with AnyConnect client, Network routing with BGP, Linux/Unix experience preferred.
Also desired/emphasized is a strong analytical and quantitative capability with attention to detail, ability to work in a demanding environment, exhibiting a high degree of flexibility and ability to multi-task, seeking guidance where necessary. Strong verbal and written skills are also important.
Special Skills:
Specialists are required to analyze customer requirements to ensure all standards, policies, and guidelines are upheld from the information security perspective and support routine compliance activities.
Eventually, specialists need to support technology improvements, such as new infrastructure install and hardware/software upgrades, and engineering support.
Relevant certifications preferred: Checkpoint and PaloAlto Networks firewalls.
Education Level Required: Bachelor's Degree preferred

Pay Range: $60-$65/hr W2 (Negotiable)
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. - Strong TCP/IP knowledge, including TCP expertise.
- Familiarity with firewall products (Checkpoint, Zscaler, BlueProxy).
- Experience with OS upgrades.
- Proficient in Wireshark for packet analysis.
- Effective communication with management and ability to provide clear updates.
- Strong learning skills and capacity to adapt to new tools or challenges.
- High engagement level and ability to stay focused on tasks.
- Collaborate with L2 support teams, engineers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Relevant certifications preferred (not mandatory but beneficial).

- 24/7 rotation support structure.
- 12-hour workdays, 3-4 days per week (6 AM - 6 PM).
- Onsite: 1 day per week currently, with potential to increase to 2 days.
- Panel Interview (45 minutes).
