Complete Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking to hire an Engineering Software Consultant to assist and lead in the support and implementation of engineering software within the Department. Local candidates only as the selected candidate will be required to come to the office twice a week.

Assist Department personnel in the implementation of new engineering software
Serve as one of the Administrators for the Department s Engineering Document Management system (Bentley ProjectWise)
Support the Department s electronic file exchange tool (Bentley ProjectWise Deliverables Management) for internal and external staff
Provide day to day user support
Assist in maintaining the Department s Engineering Software standards and documentation
Develop/conduct engineering software user training sessions
Document/revise existing and new business processes to meet new/revised engineering software requirements
Develop engineering software best practices
Investigate new and emerging engineering technology and make recommendations to Department personnel and management for implementation.


Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and planning skills - Required
Experience using/supporting document management systems such as Bentley ProjectWise - Preferred (2 years)
Competent in the use of MS Office suite - Required (5 years)
Experience developing training materials and conducting training sessions - Preferred - (2 years)
Experience providing customer support - Preferred (2 years)
Experience in developing technical documentation - Required (2 years)
Experience working in an Architectural or Engineering environment - Required (5 years)
Familiarity with ServiceNOW - Nice to have

Question 1 Absences greater than two weeks MUST be approved by CAI management in advance, and contact information must be provided to CAI so that the resource can be reached during his or her absence.
