We are seeking a Senior Sales Excellence Manager to drive our System Integration efforts via project and program management to prepare our sellers and advertisers to transition into our combined Microsoft Advertising offering.

We are seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset, a keen focus on client obsession and a drive for execution excellence. As a Senior Sales Excellence Manager, you will lead and enable the end-to-end strategy, execution and change management plan for the systems integration programs, making sure the team is thinking and optimizing for the client and internal team member experience, in coordination with partners across Microsoft AI (MAI) and across Microsoft. This role is instrumental to effectively land complex, innovative, and scalable solutions to enable Microsoft Advertising's evolution.

Qualifications

Required Qualficiations:
  • 4+ years experience in sales or sales management, or sales operations or program management, or a related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience using data to drive business outcomes or inform business decisions.
  • 3+ years of experience managing relationships with stakeholders, clients, and/or customers.

Preferred Qualficiations:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field.
  • 3+ years managing projects, including planning, managing timelines, and tracking progress, and/or change management experience.
  • Understanding of digital advertising (Search, Display, Video, Programmatic Advertising).
  • Experience with track record of project management, program management and tool and process integration
  • Flexible communication style in all areas of the business, from Senior Leadership through to field sales, with high attention to clear and concise delivery.
  • The ability to motivate, inspire, and lead cross group/functional teams with a high degree of independence and success.
  • Ability to function effectively in a highly matrixed work environment; with strong cross-functional team collaboration skills.


Sales Excellence IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Guides sales, sales leadership, and supporting roles on changes needed to materialize integration and system evolution efforts. Define accountabilities and operationalize the changes. Lead efforts to generate excitement for change and evolution, ensuring all regional/global stakeholders understand the impact the integration efforts will have for their orgs.
  • Partners with all teams involved in system integration efforts (i.e. Engineering, Sales, Support, Product Marketing, CELA, Finance, etc.) to bring the voice of sales, non-sales, and customers.
  • Leads building and tracking of execution plans, documenting risks, and establishing the right rhythm of engagement to evolve and drive sales and client readiness for integration efforts.
  • Designs, documents, and influences the evolution of sales processes needed to materialize the transformation of our sales motions.
  • Proactively understands the challenges and impacts raised during execution motions and build strategies and plans for improvement.
  • Leads reviews with Sales and Operations Leadership as needed to discuss execution and strategy.
  • Surfaces sales feedback within the right channels, translating into asks that Engineering and Partners consider to ensure a consistent balance of business need and client need, including influence into tooling and product evolution.
