Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.
SUMMARY
The Millwright is involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This work may exist indoors or outdoors and may be physically demanding.
Location: CNRL Maintenance - Fort McMurray, AB
Anticipated Start Date: December 5, 2024
Shift: 7&7 Nights
Accommodation: Camp available
Travel: Flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary
Hourly Rate: $50.00 (Exclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, pension, and education and training)
JOB DUTIES
- Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
- Read diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery or parts
- Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attached motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances
- Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
- May perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered journeyman ticket is preferred
- Previous industrial experience considered an asset
- CSTS-09 or CSO or BSO
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Organized and self-motivated
- Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment
