Looking for a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate for the Bioassays group. This individual will join a team responsible for performing routine, reproducible cellular assays, and cell culture maintenance, supporting our small molecule drug discovery pipeline. This position requires knowledge of biological pathways and techniques related to establishing cellular screening cascades. The successful candidate will join an established and highly collaborative Lead Discovery group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand multiple cell lines to support research programs.
  • Bank cell lines, organize cell inventories, and maintain accurate digital cell records.
  • Perform weekly cell-biological assays (such as cell viability via plate reader or Incucyte) for screening cascades and prepare associated data reports, including ELN and inputting data in the database.
  • Maintain lab inventories of key reagents required for routine assays (e.g. plates, antibodies, kits)
  • Contribute to several projects in parallel, balancing duties across project teams.

Education/Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/MS degree with 0+/2 years industry experience in relevant biological or scientific discipline.
  • Hands-on experience culturing cells is required.
  • Hands-on experience performing cell-based assays is preferable.
  • Experience in lab automation and/or programming for data analysis is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organization, and planning skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
