Union Special is a USA based manufacturer of industrial sewing equipment for over 140 years.
We are looking to add a technician to our group to assist in the assembly, repair and field support of our equipment. The technical service person will be responsible for all technical matters, including but not limited to, machine and sewing solutions, installation, training, after sale service and support, and machine repair.
Responsibility
- Assembly of machines and sewing units for customer orders
- Provide technical support to end users via in person and/or phone support
- Installation of Union Special equipment at the customer location.
- Provide training to the customer during installations and service calls.
- High level of mechanical ability
- Knowledge of industrial sewing machines a plus
- Electronic and motor knowledge a plus
- Excellent working ethics and attitude;
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
- Excellent direct customer interaction skills a plus
- 30% or more travel required after training
- Competent in the use of Windows based applications
- Self-motivated and independent
- bilingual a plus
