Job Description

This position will be supporting a DoD client with a variety of needs including acquisition, program management, technology assessment, demonstration support, and testing and evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in event activities with the gaining services, which may require traveling to the receiving unit locations conducting an on-site inventory and functional check of all equipment as deemed necessary by the Program Manager and assigned logisticians.
  • Participate in drafting documentation for contract deliverables, encompassing assessments, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), reports, acquisition milestones, and general program management, as well as top-level briefings intended for presentation.
  • Assist in the development of event plans and the collection of test data to support event activities.
  • Communicate deadlines, assignments, and objectives to product teams, ensuring clear awareness and understanding.
  • Track the status of action items, meeting minutes, program milestones, and monthly reports.
  • Possess an understanding of Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF), along with knowledge in applying this framework to military or organizational contexts.
  • Systematically capture "material" outcomes resulting from fielding activities, ensuring they inform knowledge point reviews and development activities.
  • Support the distribution of key outcomes from TTXs to relevant stakeholders ensuring they are informed of exercise findings.
  • Thoroughly review data from tests, assessments, and demonstrations to formulate recommendations, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
  • Develop and staff a CONOP based on TTX outcomes to inform acquisition processes, collaborating with acquisition stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum SECRET level clearance.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in government contracting.
  • Candidates should possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office with specific experience in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Candidate should be a superior writer, with the ability for critical thinking and clear communication.
  • Candidate should demonstrate ability to problem solve and work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidate should demonstrate self-motivation and initiative in carrying out assigned tasks and responsibilities.

Additional Information

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000

This job requires travel and is a hybrid position

Work Location: Alexandria, VA - Hybrid Schedule
