OPS Consulting is seeking an Risk Manager to work in Laurel, MD.

Required Skills:

Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • Working knowledge of acquisition, program management, and system engineering process
  • BS degree or higher level of education
  • 10+ years of experience
  • DAWIA, PMP or equivalent certification


Desired Skills:

  • Collaborate with the perform to capture, address, and adjudicate current and future programmatic risks
  • Represent the Leadership Risk Management initiative as a SME for a focused area. Liaise with other teams and performers on risk interdependencies
  • Represent the assigned team's PMO and technical team as a risk SME to support program reviews, actions and other relevant meetings
  • Coordinate with the integrated master scheduling team and all relevant integration efforts to identify schedule impacts of risk.
  • Report actual and potential cot and performance risk impacts to the assigned team's PMO for contractual updates.
  • Create risk, issues, and opportunity (RIO) metrics to brief leadership

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
