JOB MISSION

Pacific Lifestyle Homes is seeking a skilled IT and Facilities Support Manager to enhance our team by providing hands-on technical support, managing IT assets, and ensuring seamless technology operations across offices, job sites, and model homes. WORK ENVIRONMENT

We are an in-office culture with a general work schedule of 8:00am 5:00pm.

Requirements:
  • Technical Support: Provide hands-on support for technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, phones, mobile devices, and network connectivity across offices, job sites, and model homes.
  • Technology Optimization: Continuously evaluate, provide, and update the technology and tools employees need to excel in their roles, ensuring seamless operations and improved productivity.
  • Setup and Troubleshooting: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot technology, including smart devices, presentation tools, and Wi-Fi networks in model homes, construction sites, and offices.
  • IT Asset Management: Conduct audits of IT assets to ensure proper tracking, usage, and availability, identifying areas for optimization and replacement as necessary.
  • Vendor and MSP Coordination: Coordinate with external IT service providers (MSP) to escalate complex issues, monitor service tickets, and communicate resolutions with employees. Manage relationships with other external vendors for facilities maintenance.
  • Network Infrastructure Management: Support and manage network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPNs) to ensure secure, stable connectivity across all locations, collaborating with MSP for advanced issues.
  • AI Tool Deployment and Support: Assist with the deployment and troubleshooting of AI tools to automate workflows and enhance operational efficiency across the company.
  • Cloud Services and Transition Management: Manage and facilitate the transition to cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure), ensuring smooth access, data management, and integration with existing systems.
  • New Hire IT Onboarding: Collaborate with HR and the onboarding team to provide IT setup and smooth technology onboarding for new hires, including account creation and device setup.
  • Employee Training and Support: Provide training on technology tools, devices, and self-service troubleshooting to improve employee efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Office and Facility Maintenance: Perform general office upkeep, including small repairs, hanging TVs, moving office furniture, and ensuring cleanliness in common areas.
  • Facilities Support and Coordination: Assist with various hands-on tasks around the office, such as light installations, managing equipment, and addressing odd and end tasks that arise.
  • Janitorial and Vendor Service Management: Oversee janitorial services and coordinate with external vendors to ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Event and Meeting Setup: Assist with setting up conference rooms and facilities for meetings or company events, ensuring technology and facilities are prepared and functional.
  • Onsite and Remote Support: Travel between job sites, model homes, and offices as needed to provide timely onsite support and ensure all technology and facilities are operational.
  • Education: Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or helpdesk roles, preferably in construction or field-based environments.
  • Technical Expertise: Expertise in diagnosing and resolving technical issues independently or with vendor support, managing IT setups across multiple locations, and deploying equipment efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical users, manage external IT relationships, and coordinate projects across field or remote sites.
  • Organization: Proficient in maintaining records, troubleshooting guides, conducting audits, and balancing multiple priorities to ensure smooth operations in fast-paced environments.
  • Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle and a willingness to travel locally and to Tacoma, WA/ Boise, ID.
