Are you ready to take the reins in transforming clinical applications at Mendocino Community Health Clinic? We re looking for a passionate Clinical Applications Manager (CAM) to oversee our dynamic department and foster strong relationships with OCHIN. In this pivotal role, you ll be responsible for training, documentation, testing, and staff development, while serving as a thought leader in integrating cutting-edge technology with our OCHIN Epic System of Record. You ll also manage vendor relationships and ensure our application roadmap meets both current and future needs. Duties Include:

  • In concert with the Director of Population Health, clearly defines the overall objectives and expectations and reaches agreement and buy-in with all project stakeholders.
  • Manages the application roadmap for MCHC and brings in best-in-class technology that drives better collaboration, lowers administrative burden and improves outcomes
  • Continually reaffirms, adjusts, and communicates project goals according to the dynamic vision of the company.
  • Serves as a role model for the team and develops a high performing team
  • Oversees successful implementation of the Population Health Platform
  • Works closely with the appropriate department managers and Director of Population Health to resource all elements of the project.
  • Ensures that all team members are appropriately trained to accomplish their assigned tasks.
  • Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve issues and provides answers in a timely manner.
  • Effectively communicates relevant information to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Initiates and implements improvement.
  • Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members.
  • Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
  • Travels to other MCHC locations as needed.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor s degree
  • Experience working with EPIC or equivalent Electronic Health Record Systems
  • Experience managing teams
  • Technical acumen to determine roadmap and vision
