Job Details:
Our company is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and proactive Permanent Lead Estimator - Data Centers - Hybrid to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing organization and play a critical role in the estimation and planning of data center construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical estimating, risk analysis, project estimating, and CSA estimating. Experience in the data center or semiconductor industry is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Lead Estimator - Data Centers - Hybrid, you will:
1. Lead and manage a team of estimators to develop cost estimates for data center construction projects.
2. Evaluate and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the total cost, timeline, and resources required.
3. Conduct risk analysis to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
4. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
6. Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to management and clients.
7. Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies to ensure competitive estimates.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Lead Estimator - Data Centers - Hybrid role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a lead estimator in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in electrical estimate, risk analysis, project estimating, mechanical estimating, and CSA estimating.
3. Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Strong knowledge of data center or semiconductor construction projects.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
7. Proficiency in relevant software, such as estimating, scheduling, and project management tools.
8. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
