WHAT YOU LL BE DOING:
- Lead the AV project management team. Including coaching, performance management, team development and individual development.
- Work with Install Manager and scheduler to coordinate schedules and guarantee project success.
- Ensure team productivity through weekly team metrics, project reviews and monitoring team workload.
- Manage the implementation of commercial audio visual (AV) systems, balancing profitability with customer satisfaction.
- Manage awarded business: determine goals, project schedules, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, labor requirements, and allotment of resources.
- Attend pre-sale and construction meetings; perform site visits.
- Promote quality improvement to enhance customer experience.
- Coordinate distribution of AV drawings and documentation to project team.
- Coordinate AV work to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
- Provide guidance to the project team to resolve issues as they arise.
- Manage requests for changes from original specifications.
- Work with programmers, installation team, and field engineers to coordinate commissioning of the installed systems.
- Increase profit margins through strategic planning and execution of projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- 3-5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of people management experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- CORE accounting and contact management software proficiency is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to provide solutions that are both beneficial to the client as well as cost efficient for Continua.
- Ability to synthesize complex information, designs, workflows and procedures.
- Prompt responsiveness to customers needs and requests.
