We are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for leading Engineering and Design-Build Projects with a focus on quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC). Projects involve design, documentation, costing, assistance in proposal development, submittal preparation, and regulatory engagement. Areas of engineering primarily include decentralized potable water and domestic wastewater equipment design and services for commercial development as well as municipal and industrial infrastructure improvements.

This is a remote based position with required travel of up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the permitting, design and construction phases of water and wastewater treatment facilities in multi-state regulatory environments.
  • Develop project technical scopes, budgets, and proposals in coordination with Business Development.
  • Lead the Design-Build Engineering of projects in all phases including conceptual, permitting, design, procurement, and construction engineering.
  • Determine best design approach for treatment systems through engagement with the Products Group and technology partners for plans and specifications development as well as Field Services Group regarding constructability and estimation.
  • Determine sizing, flow process, and auxiliary equipment needs for full system designs.
  • Lead regulatory engagement as necessary for permit applications and approvals.
  • Develop/review planning for quality requirements of Design-Build projects, including identifying the standards, guidelines, and checklists that are appropriate for the project.
  • Develop and/or update project specific audit plans, including schedule, documentation, and resource requirements.
  • Execute QA/QC programs for both Engineering and Design-Build Projects.
  • Regularly interact with field operations and project management teams, corporate Operations Support, Project Controls teams, and Clients regarding Quality related matters.
  • Report regularly on project progress, cost and schedule metrics, procurement issues, safety or environmental concerns, and design questions.
  • Coordinate inspection/observation activities, review and respond to drawings, submittals, requests for clarification, and other related correspondence.
  • Coordinate startup, commissioning, and acceptance activities.
  • Engage with other members of the Technical & Digital Services Group in design and implementation of remote monitoring, data acquisition, and control functionality of all decentralized system designs.
  • Provide engineering management and oversight for all projects related to Technical & Digital Services Group s existing mobile and decentralized company assets including lease and rental plants.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field or equivalent professional experience required.
  • PE license in one or more states strongly preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience using Design-Build project delivery method required.
  • Experience with Quality Inspections / Audits of Engineering and/or Construction Projects.
  • Experience managing highly technical and fast-paced design projects for manufacturing, commercial, and general construction clients required.
  • Advanced level in MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project (or similar program).
  • Experience with Procore and Primavera P6 preferred.
  • Good understanding of critical path scheduling

Base Salary: $100k-$140k
