Airswift is seeking a skilled Engineering Support Specialist to join a major client in the Oil and Gas Industry, in Woodlands, TX. You'll play a vital role in assisting the Gulf of Mexico Business Unit with short- and long-term planning and program execution, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role involves close collaboration with Assets, Plants, and Operational Support teams to gather, analyze, and reconcile data, facilitating plan execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide data, analysis, and support to the Portfolio Management team.
  • Develop reports and tools to visualize and analyze data for reports and presentations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data flow and workgroup efficiency.
  • Prepare economic analyses and reports.
  • Retrieve and analyze data from corporate databases.
  • Facilitate skill-based knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Support special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in data analytics, research, and analysis.
  • Strong skills in SharePoint or PowerBI for data management and data mining.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Excel Power Query).
  • Experience with oil and gas economic software.
  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships.
  • Excellent organization, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills.
  • 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Associate degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Finance, Math, Data Analytics).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with oil and gas economic software (Peep, Aries, Mosaic).
  • SQL query and data management experience.
  • Experience with SAP accounting data.
  • Dashboard development in TIBCO Spotfire or PowerBI.
  • Proficiency in economics software and reserves management systems.
