Job Title: Environmental Project Manager
Location: Westford, MA
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of environmental projects in the New England region. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record of managing complex projects with varying regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of environmental projects, including site investigations, remediation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise technical staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, effectively managing client expectations and project budgets.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex environmental projects.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and regulatory submittals.
  • Evaluate subsurface conditions and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to advocate for clients' interests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and business development leads to ensure seamless client service.
  • Manage and mentor direct reports, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in geology, environmental science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on site investigations, remediation, and regulatory compliance in the New England region.
  • In-depth knowledge of Massachusetts environmental regulations (MCP 310 CMR 40.0000).
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
  • Proven experience in managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring technical staff.
  • Professional certifications (LSP, LEP) are a plus.
  • Business development experience is a plus.
