A market-leading manufacturer and distributor of medical supplies seeks an experienced organizational change impact analyst.

The company is transitioning its flagship division s operations from a legacy enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to SAP S/4HANA.

This project will transform more than 100 business processes across several major business functions. These functions include but are not limited to manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain management, data governance, and finance.

As part of this project, an organizational change management (OCM) team is conducting a detailed change impact analysis across hundreds of changes and dozens of job roles.

The OCM team is also advising management and helping them transition hundreds of employees through these changes.

As a change impact analyst, you will serve as part of this team, under the guidance of an OCM workstream lead and an OCM change impact lead.

Responsibilities

* Document detailed change impacts to business processes Analyze change impacts across dozens of business processes within one or more business functions that will be your specific area of focus.

Within each process, you will analyze changes at the subprocess level. This means that for a business process represented as a flowchart, you will analyze changes for each step in the flowchart. You will also delve even further to assess how each change impacts specific job roles.

You will research project documents and guide discussions with subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine the current state, future state, and net change for each subprocess.

* Analyze change risks and impacts For each subprocess change impact on a specific job role, you will use an internal scoring method to develop a composite score of risk and impact.

* Recommend change enablers You may be asked to recommend actions from an established set of change tactics/enablers. These include but are not limited to communications; training; and referrals to management for assessment of job roles, performance metrics, and/or head count. You would present these recommendations to business leadership.

* Collaborate and share insights with a team of change analysts Work with the change impact lead and other change analysts to share findings and improve the team s insights and recommendations.

* Work with a process measurement team For changes that significantly impact operations, you may be asked to share your insights with a process measurement team. This separate team would measure the impacts using operational metrics, such as production output.

* Track change readiness by subprocess/job role You may be asked to track change readiness using scoring based on the Prosci ADKAR model. You would assign the scoring based on your insights, feedback from stakeholders, and formal surveys conducted by the project s stakeholder engagement lead.

* Share knowledge with training developers To limit demands on SME time, you may be asked to include training developers in your research meetings with SMEs. In cases where training developers cannot attend these meetings, you may be asked to share your research with them separately.

Required Qualifications

* Minimum of five years in one or more of these disciplines:

Organizational change management (OCM)

Continuous improvement (CI)

Process engineering

Business analysis

Instructional design

* Deep experience in analyzing process-level change impacts for complex projects

* Demonstrated ability to interview SMEs for change impact analysis

* Major experience working with one or more of these areas:

Manufacturing and supply chain management

Finance (particularly product costing, accounting, and accounts payable)

Data governance

* Demonstrated ability to view changes from the perspective of individual job roles

* Experience with large-scale ERP migrations

* Experience working within a project-based framework

* Ability to deliver on a time-limited, minimum viable product (MVP) basis when needed

* Clear, accurate writing with strong attention to detail

* Excellent speaking and presentation skills

Preferred (But Not Required) Qualifications

* Willingness to work on-site in the far north Chicago suburbs up to three days per week, as needed

* Demonstrated background in OCM and/or strategic communication

* Prosci or other OCM certification

* Spanish language ability (intermediate or better)
