What You Will Do:

Guidehouse has a very aggressive growth strategy for its Healthcare Advisory practice, and now seeks to expand its leadership team by recruiting a strong business building executive, who will be a fundamental to this growth strategy. We seek a leader able to take advantage of Guidehouse's unique integrated Government and Commercial consulting platform and maximize results. You will add your extensive executive management consulting and healthcare experience to lead a high performing team building innovative clinical operations capabilities, integrating in technology and digital supporting workflows to assist clients in improving patient outcomes, consumer engagement and profitability across the continuum.

This new hire will be a senior business builder with a high-profile personal franchise in the Healthcare/ Health Systems Clinical Strategy and Operations spaces.
  • Leading Clinical Solutions within Commercial Healthcare Payor/Provider Advisory
  • Developing and leading relationships with current and prospective clients - both externally and internally, establishing credibility with senior Guidehouse colleagues to be recognized as a market leader.
  • Client Relationship Management to relate effectively and with the highest degree of credibility to health system C-suite executives in the context of leading business development, marketing and sales as well as building and executing service delivery teams. As an executive you will be charged with expanding market by selling profitable consulting engagements both vertically and horizontally.
  • Build /elevate Guidehouse teams to guide care process redesign at major academic or large system successfully.
  • Spearheading the development of a key go-to-market strategies for Clinical Solution offerings in collaboration with the larger Industry Segment including new client development and existing client expansion with personal pursuit
  • Manage executive level relationships across the Healthcare Payor/Provider and specifically Clinical client-base to deliver innovative clinical solutions that deliver sustainable outcomes for our clients because they are aligned to cost and outcomes and thread through the healthcare continuum and ultimately meet client needs as well as to maximize revenue generation and profitability of the firm.
  • Playing a vital role in managing and developing team members in the Clinical Solutions Team, as well as recruiting new team members as part of this strategic initiative to aggressively grow the Payor Provider practice and the clinical solutions area.
  • Evaluating internal control structures to help identify weaknesses and associated risks.
  • Evaluating the general risk and leading investigations needed by the client to manage impact of those risks on the organization.
  • Developing, performing, and supervising detailed financial, economic, and statistical analysis.
  • Partly accountable for the Healthcare Segment's financial performance in meeting and exceeding financial budgets.


What You Will Need:
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in roles demonstrating success building and managing client relationships and deliverables with a progression to leading a Clinical solutions area practice inclusive of practice resources, capabilities and growth with P&L kind of responsibilities (3+ yrs.).
  • Significant Inpatient (and Ambulatory) business leadership experience in commercial clinical healthcare professional services growth with P&L responsibility
  • Demonstrated hands on CONSULTING leadership aligning physicians, health systems, and other care partners to achieve successful outcomes-based operations. Led this process in complex health systems, academic medical centers and/or integrated delivery networks preferred.
  • Passionate about healthcare transformation and understands the lifestyle it takes to push change through (consultant-lifestyle)
  • Minimum 3+ year of experience as a Leader to manage internal stakeholders to solution, sell, deliver, and meet DSO within Payor/Provider Advisory that resulted in measured: top line and bottom-line growth, favorable diverse culture, and fostered both the appropriate discipline and innovation required to sustain a healthy business.
  • Deep understanding of inpatient redesign, clinical models, operations, workflows care variation, quality, utilization management, care management in health systems (as well as ambulatory, hospital at home, post-acute, medical groups, managed care etc.) to achieve the outcomes required to maximize patient outcomes wile managing cost to optimize return on contract strategies. Should have impacted a newer (not necessarily legacy) integrated system. Leverage tools and processes to insure measurable clinical and operational outcomes.
  • Nationally, recognized and known leader in Inpatient Clinical solutions who drives highly visible, inpatient, complex, transformation, modernization, clinical strategy, clinical models, clinical operations, quality, clinical excellence programs that are clearly structured and deliver results.
  • Ability to recruit and develop a high-performance team.
  • Strong executive presence, polish, and communication skills
  • Experience successfully developing, mentoring, and managing teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; a clinical degree including:: RN, MSN, DO, MD, PA, NP, BSN highly preferred.
  • Able to travel up to 70% as needed.

  • Outstanding project management skills in monitoring billing of hours, training, development, and supervision.
  • Proven track record of successful new business generation, and demonstrable ability (or commercial potential) to sell, deliver and manage highly visible engagements demonstrated by year over year credited sales generation of $10M+
  • Presence and credibility to successfully collaborate and work with Guidehouse's own highly regarded business development team.
  • Desire to collaborate with other related Guidehouse practices as well as across the entire global firm to cross-sell relevant products and services, in addition to being a growth oriented, vertical thinker.

  • High level of business acumen and commercial awareness.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.


The annual salary range for this position is $232,900.00-$582,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
