Vice President of Sales

  • Develop a strategic pipeline of potential beauty clients within the West Coast and work with the internal team to customize product offerings to identify unique program development opportunities.
  • Continue identifying beauty brands to support packaging, formula, and/or turnkey projects across skincare, and makeup categories.
  • Cultivate relationships with key accounts and new prospects through increased call frequency, follow-up, and personal commitment to understanding their goals to create a mutually beneficial partnership.
  • Partner with the innovation team to identify white space opportunities for beauty brands in order to customize presentations to bring value to each client and their unique brand portfolio.
  • Partner with the Product Development team to evaluate product briefs to collaborate on product concepts, features, and benefits to leverage innovative technology and speed-to-market options to convert the product concept into a successful program.
  • Consistently lead presentations for beauty brands presenting the latest trends and new technology and present key points of difference to create business partnerships leveraging the factories for formula and packaging.
  • Continuously follow up and manage accounts to become the “go-to” for any product development needs and proactively develop value with each account.
  • Create opportunities to take clients to lunch, happy hour and/or dinners to expand business relationships.
  • Expand brand relationships across all levels within the company (C-level, Marketing, Product Development and Purchasing/Sourcing) to expand opportunities within each account.
  • Attend tradeshows and fly out to the facility as needed to showcase the manufacturing capabilities.
  • Partner with the executive team to negotiate project pricing and terms to remain competitive.
  • Collaborate with GM on pricing, negotiation of terms, and forecasting for the West Coast and work with the Executive team on unique terms for new clients to remain competitive.

Qualifications:

  • 10 plus years of Sales/b2b experience focused on turnkey services within the beauty industry
  • Proven track-record of developing new business and increasing sale revenue YOY
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record of establishing business partnerships to deliver outstanding service
  • Self-starter, disciplined and proactive to achieve results
  • Ability to partner with beauty brands and identify opportunities based on their unique product portfolio
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly organized and detailed to support product concept projects and turnaround results
