WOW 1 DAY PAINTING is looking for a Marketing Director in Vancouver or Toronto to join our growing team! Lead Marketing team and own marketing Strategy across the brand. We are looking for someone with strong business and marketing acumen and digital marketing experience to drive business outcomes through increased lead generation. WOW 1 DAY PAINTING is an exciting, fast-growing House painting franchise, part of O2E Brands, the parent company of the hugely successful 1-800-GOT-JUNK?.

For this role s duty and responsibility, we anticipate that you will be in the office 25% of time

Day in the Life

  • Marketing Strategy: Create comprehensive marketing strategies based on market research, competitive analysis, and brand goals to enhance brand visibility and drive growth across our franchise network.
  • Database Marketing: Apply a data driven approach to executing, and optimizing performance of marketing strategy. Measure the success of marketing programs and campaigns to deliver on both short and long-term goals. Create targeted campaigns based on customer data and segmentation, aiming to increase customer lifetime value and drive repeat business.
  • Digital Marketing: Develop and lead integrated media strategy and planning. Develop and execute content strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions. Oversee paid media management, agencies, and performance to deliver on strategic goals. Oversee the development of engaging and relevant content for various digital platforms, including website, blog, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize various channels including social media, email campaigns, and to drive lead acquisition. Analyze lead generation metrics and optimize campaigns to improve performance and ROI. Conduct market research to identify potential lead sources, target audiences, and emerging trends.
  • Customer Journey: Evolve and optimize the customer experience to increase Lead generation, conversion rates and customer acquisition.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Develop, manage and nurture strong Franchise Owner relationships to increase marketing investment and stakeholder confidence. Coordinate with other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts across the organization.
  • Vendor Selection and Management: Monitor vendor performance against established metrics and KPIs, including quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with Email and SMS regulations and best practices. Collaborate with internal marketing teams to understand their needs and requirements for vendor services. Prepare and present regular reports on vendor performance, budget utilization, and project outcomes to senior management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the team, providing regular feedback and professional growth opportunities.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 7-10 years in marketing roles with minimum 5 years experience in a leadership roles leading multiple marketing functions across multiple locations.
  • Franchise experience is an asset
  • Experience in leading projects from conception to inception to meet or exceed business goals.
  • Proven history of driving multi-location growth.
  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred (e.g. MBA, MS) is an asset.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, coupled with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate key marketing concepts, strategy, plans and activities to stakeholders including executive leadership and Franchise Partners.
  • Understanding of compliance regulations such as CASL and CAN-SPAM.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary is $130-163k (The actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
