Key Responsibilities
- Manage the billing and collections process for patient accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UB04 and HCFA 1500 claims.
- Process self-pay patient accounts efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Address and resolve issues that may arise in relation to claims and payments.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of both payor and patient requirements to facilitate timely payments.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in processing UB04 and HCFA 1500 claims.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management is required.
- A proven track record of success in related roles is essential.
