Tendeg LLC is a premier spacecraft deployables company. Our novel designs are enabling exciting missions providing high gain antennas for sensor applications and communications. We have 12 antennas on-orbit and 20 flight deliverables occurring in 2024. Our missions include Earth Science (weather, surface deformation and change); LEO, GEO and lunar communications; synthetic aperture radar (SAR); and unique radio frequency sensors for commercial and government applications. Title: Manufacturing Engineering Internship Summer 2025
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern you will be responsible for completing assigned projects and tasks related to manufacturing engineering deliverables. May include producing process flow diagrams, timing studies, fixture and tooling design and development, documenting complex processes, and generally furthering the body of knowledge around the processes required for building antennas and precision deployables for space.
Position Details:
- 3-month paid internship
- 40 hours per week
- No relocation assistance
Location: Louisville, CO
What you'll do:
- Work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering Team
- Attend production stand-up meetings
- Take direction from Mfg. Engineers for daily priorities
- Time manage to progress longer term project assignments
- Weekly status reports/download
- Support production occasionally as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications/Education:
- Currently pursuing a degree from a four-year university or relevant Engineering course work. Must be working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or any other relevant electrical or applied physics certification.
- Strong ability to work in teams and collaborate with peers and internal customers.
- Strong analytical skills comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data.
- Ability to learn new processes quickly and effectively multi-task. Willing to roll up sleeves and dive into hands-on environment.
- Effective communication skills; comfortable working in a team environment; high energy and desire to learn.
- Demonstrate leadership experience through school or extracurricular projects.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization and active listening skills.
- Strong emotional intelligence.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
