Description
The Retail Deductions Sales Engineer (Target) is a critical expert at SupplyPike, responsible for driving the success of our retail deductions and compliance capabilities. This role requires a deep, hands-on understanding of retail deductions and compliance programs, particularly from the perspective of Target suppliers. The ideal candidate must have direct experience working in these areas and will act as the go-to expert, supporting our teams and helping potential customers understand how SupplyPike solves complex Target deductions challenges.

This position is open to fully remote applicants with the expectation to visit our headquarters in Rogers, Arkansas once per quarter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on retail deductions and compliance programs at Target (and other retailers, as applicable), ensuring that your experience as a supplier drives our solutions
  • Join sales calls as the expert, answering technical questions about deductions and compliance, and demonstrating how SupplyPike can help resolve these issues for potential customers
  • Provide strategic guidance and insights to Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams; Act as an internal consultant to ensure our solutions meet the evolving needs of suppliers dealing with retail deductions
  • Work closely with Product to advise on feature prioritization based on real-world deductions challenges and customer feedback
  • Offer insights around retailer deductions and compliance programs to help the Marketing team develop content that resonates with our audience
  • Provide expertise during quarterly business reviews, helping resolve deductions-related challenges faced by our customers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and developments through professional networks, supplier groups, newsletters, and conferences, and share insights internally

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • 5+ years of direct experience working with retail deductions and compliance programs
  • Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university - Business, Finance, Supply Chain preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex issues for customers
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Tech-savvy and eager to quickly learn new tools and technologies
