Olive Recruiting is looking for an experienced HR Generalist for our client in Houston, TX. The position involves offering comprehensive support to various branch locations, covering areas such as recruitment, benefits administration, performance management, investigations, employee relations, and development. Additionally, the role will focus on ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR Director to support the strategic goals of the Human Resources department.
Location: Houston, TX
Full-time, direct hire with client
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $50,000-$60-000 annually, depending on experience- with a comprehensive benefits package
Responsibilities
Build trust with branch HR representatives and company leaders, providing HR expertise to support branch strategy and goals.
Advise management and employees on HR matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant laws.
Assist in the development, implementation, and review of HR policies and procedures.
Lead recruiting efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions and support employee training by developing and delivering programs.
Monitor key performance indicators and apply business acumen to develop effective solutions for management's challenges.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor under pressure.
Qualifications
Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Well-rounded HR Experience
HR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification required
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Preferred Experience With HRIS Systems, Such As Paycom
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle confidential information professionally
