Title: BIM Specialist (Building Information Modeling)

Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, Architect in a coordinated team environment to convert design of HVAC and/or Mechanical systems to create accurate models ensuring constructability
- Reviewing & submitting, complete layout requirements within guidelines of EEI and/or General Contractor project standards.
- Creation of 3D & 2D design Revit models. Assist in maintenance and upkeep of relevant models. Update and amend existing design data based on review and understanding the complete scope of work BIM schedule & project Schedule.
- Review current plan specifications, architectural drawings, quality checklists, documents provided meet construction schedule requirements.
- Communicate & maintain professional relationships with customers & field teams to ensure the accuracy and constructability of the different modeled systems match.
- Assist in prepping RFI for the Project Manager & able to Run Navisworks crash detection
- Collaborate with design team and other departments to reach production goals. Complete operational requirements; following up on work results.
- Coordinate and collaborate across all discipline specific designers and modelers, working with field team to create as-built drawings and ensure thorough accuracy to help with project closeout
This Job Is:
- Open to a applicants with Associates degree in BIM, Information Technology, Computer science or Engineering with 3 years of field experience
- Enthusiastic, detailed oriented designer with time management skills

Requirements
Requirements:
- 3 + years relevant field experience in construction management, or relevant field or equivalent and or Associates degree in BIM Modeling, Information Technology, Computer Science or
Engineering
- Able to read & understand schematics equipment submittals, pipe and ductwork matrices and other plan documentation
- Proficiency in BIM modeling and drawing production, specializing in Revit and AutoCAD. Knowledge of Navisworks, Fabrication, Evolve, etc.) is a plus
- Detail oriented, able to multi task, work in a fast paced environment with deadlines and make quick adjustments.
- Dependable, organized, self motivated, able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally across departments.
