Position Overview
We re looking for a Workflow Integration Specialist to join our Application Integration team, reporting to the Manager of Workflow Automation. You will work closely with your team and business stakeholders to build, deploy, and support automated integration processes between applications and third-party tools with workflow automation tools. Reach uses the Workato platform (similar to UIPath or Blue Prism) to implement and scale repeatable, well-documented business processes to remove human interaction and manual processes. We need an intermediate high-performing technical developer with a combination of workflow development using Workato and business analysis skills, who is reliable, technically adept and efficient working in a hybrid remote environment. We are looking for a skilled individual to contribute to our business process analysis, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements. Your role will involve designing and constructing secure, reliable integration processes that can be utilized across our organization. Proficiency in extracting data from databases, flat files, and web APIs is essential, as is the ability to work with programming languages such as Python. You should be self-directed and comfortable supporting the automation needs of multiple teams, while also adapting to a variety of technologies within a cloud-based environment, particularly AWS.

You Will:
- Work with a product owner to identify, design, and implement process automation and improvements using workflow automation technology (Workato): automating manual business processes, optimizing data movement between back office applications, re-designing processes for greater scalability, security, etc.
- Analyze business processes and document and design automated workflows;
- Ensure consistent data security and access control;
- Developing ETL/ELT processes as appropriate to support process automation;
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with product teams, software development teams, and end users to support their data needs;
- Work effectively and collaborate with other teams to drive organization-wide efficiencies;
- Triage integration issues for effective resolution;
- Properly test and deploy workflow automation across different environments.
Requirements
Must Have Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related technical/analytical field (Computer Science, Data, Statistics, Mathematics) or equivalent experience;
- 3+ years of experience in workflow automation;
- Technical acumen in Workato and a firm grasp of workflow/process automation principles;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and documentation of complex processes;
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and adept organizational abilities, crucial for analyzing workflows and transforming them into automated solutions;
- Strong SQL proficiency and extensive experience with relational databases, coupled with adeptness in extracting data from various sources including flat files, REST, and GraphQL APIs;
- Proficiency in the Python programming language enabling seamless automation implementation;
- Comprehensive understanding of software engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle, encompassing agile methodologies, rigorous testing, and operational support;
- Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration methodologies, contributing to efficient data management;
- Experience with version control systems like Git, ensuring collaboration and code management efficiency;
- Superior analytical skills honed through working with development tools, diverse database technologies, and handling both structured and unstructured datasets;
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement, actively seeking and adapting to new technologies and methodologies to drive innovation.
Nice to Have Requirements:
- Experience in a Developer role focused on application integration, ETL/Data Engineering;
- Experience working in fintech/e-commerce;
- Experience speaking and presenting to business stakeholders;
- Experience mentoring and supporting other developers,
