The Supply Chain Manager conducts thorough analysis and reconciliation of all inventory and cycle count variances. This position manages and develops processes and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity to avoid manufacturing disruptions. The Supply Chain Manager reviews and analyzes product reports and transactions and works alongside other departments to solve issues. The Supply Chain Manager will also be responsible for understanding the scheduling and ordering functions. They will be knowledgeable of various areas and able to provide backup for other team members as necessary.
Position Responsibilities may include:
Audit production reporting, cycle counts and physical inventory to ensure accuracy.
Reviews production reporting.
Review and analyze all transactions for accuracy.
Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis.
Maintain all inventory and part related data in inventory management system.
Use complex problem solving to deliver process improvements for production reporting and reconciliation process to drive accuracy within the operations team.
Work with the accounting controller on inventory reporting.
Collaborate with other departments to maintain an acceptable level of accuracy and inventory levels.
Provide suggestions and implement plans to improve business processes.
Ability to understand and produce a schedule for any area in manufacturing in a timely manner.
Experience using MRP to place orders for manufacturing materials.
Schedule and manage projects to address material issues and find root cause.
Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.
Some travel possible to other plants.

Advanced knowledge of MS office.
Excellent grasp of XCEL.
Advanced knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices.
Effective verbal and written communication.

Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
Inquisitive nature and passion for data integrity.
High level of attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
Knowledge of production scheduling.
Knowledge of MRP systems.
Knowledge of Mapics AS400.
Ability to apply good judgement, strong work ethics and integrity on the job.
Competency:
Experience:
10+ years experience in inventory management or related field
Education/Certification:
College degree in Inventory Management or Supply Chain is preferred OR equivalent experience may be considered.
People Management: No
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
Work environment contains forklift traffic, PPE required.
