About the Role
PVLabs is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer with both breadth and depth in Design for Manufacturability with complex mechatronics systems. Overall, this role will be responsible for developing manufacturing/assembly processes and procedures and support design transfer, process validation and change control, all while managing the complexity of product development within the highly regulated Controlled Goods and Defence/Military technology ecosystem. The Manufacturing Engineer will use their leadership, collaboration skills and DFM expertise to ensure effective transfer of products from our Engineering Labs to our Operations, Test & Integration and Production Labs
This is not a typical, stay-in-your-lane Manufacturing Engineer role. Instead, it s an advanced, multi-disciplinary role that is essential to all aspects of improving designs for manufacturability and test, developing process flows, creating build and test requirements plus appropriate lead-time analysis for preliminary manufacturing & assembly procedures. Its where concept turns into reality, where getting it right is a whole-team effort, and where your expertise matters.
While our organization quickly evolving and growing the Manufacturing Engineer role at PVLabs will start with a clean slate, allowing the successful candidate to apply their own unique signature to how to build a better Manufacturing Engineering function that will solve complex problems with significant direct business impact.
