Senior Life Cycle Management Specialist - Level 3

Our Federal Government client is looking for a Senior Life Cycle Management Specialist - Level 3 in Ottawa, ON (National Capital Region). The following qualifications are required:
Job Description:
The Senior LCMS must assist the TA serving as the CF-188 D/WSM, to control, coordinate, and execute all the activities necessary to manage repair & overhaul (R&O) disposal, and integration of the outcomes of the VD-188 PGS SSC into the PAWV SSC. The contractor s resource must also provide a broad range of technical support services in relation to CF-188 airworthiness management.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
The Senior Life Cycle Management Specialist - Level 3 must have the following skills and experience:
  • Language(s): Bilingual (French/English)
  • Security Clearance: Valid Secret (Level II)
  • A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in the last five (5) years, working in support of an aircraft equipment program and conducting associated aircraft engineering support activities
  • A minimum of one (1) of the following:
  • Must have been a Senior 500-series technical trade person qualified to the TQ6B trade level in DND
  • Must have been a civilian aircraft technical tradesperson comparable to a Senior 500-series technical trade person qualified to the TQ6B trade level in DND
  • Must have a university degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical or Systems Engineering
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience working in military or commercial aircraft operations working in a minimum of three (3) of the following areas:
  • Supply management
  • Technical publications
  • Support cost option analyses
  • Quality management, through activities such as, but not limited to, evaluating existing systems, and investigating Unsatisfactory Condition Reports
  • Conducting independent engineering studies and analyses, including verification and validation, particularly in regards to risk
  • A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in the last five (5) years providing aircraft system engineering support and Configuration Management (CM) in a technical and engineering support organization
  • A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in the last five (5) years coordinating projects in an aircraft maintenance environment, including defining, preparing, and reviewing scope of work, SORs and Performance Work Statements (PWS) as well as managing system engineering support established tasks, in support of an aircraft equipment program.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in the last five (5) years coordinating the disposal of aircraft fleet aircraft components and obsolete equipment, including defining, preparing and drafting a Master Implementation Disposal Plan, identifying and preparing systems/parts for disposal, preparing costs estimates, and coordinating between all disposal departments
