Description
The RFP Specialist will provide support in the coordination and development of bids, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective partners. They will collaborate and coordinate with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities.

The RFP Specialist will provide support in the coordination and development of bids, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective partners. They will collaborate and coordinate with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the RFP Director on all RFP processes for the organization, leveraging writing expertise
- Establish a tracking system with win-loss information
- Review and analyze RFP losses to recommend enhancements to products or processes
- Plan, organize, lead and monitor the milestone activities of the RFP response team while maintaining oversight of the schedule and the delivery of all items.
- Coordinate with internal e2L teams to provide required information necessary to fulfill needs of the RFP
- Identify and outline requirements of RFPs and create writing spaces, and compliance matrix/checklists (Planning Guides)
- Package and submit all agreed upon RFPs/RFQs in a timely manner
- Schedule proposal production planning meetings
- Create and execute a proposal project plan
- Conduct market and competitor research
- Hold kick-off and debrief meetings
- Gather and send follow-up and clarifying questions to the buyer
- Ensure proposals and presentations are brand compliant
- Prioritize RFPs based on likelihood of winning and value in collaboration with the Chief of Strategy
- Package final submission of all RFP’s in accordance with published guidelines issued by prospective partners, ensuring high-quality winning response is delivered.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in business communications, journalism, business, marketing, education, or related field, preferred
- 2+ years of experience in proposal support or writing
- Proposal budgeting experience, preferred
- Experience within the fields of K-12 Education and/or Ed Tech products and services preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with data tracking and analysis
- Proven history of writing, editing and reviewing
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
- High level of proficiency in technology tools and apps that increase productivity and efficiency
- This is a full-time, exempt position.
- This is a remote position.
- Standard work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with additional hours as necessary.
