Summary
Gainwell is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Windows System Administrator who will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of our Windows server and workstation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS/Azure and Office 365 administration including Microsoft Exchange.

5+ years of experience as a Windows System Administrator in a large enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure environments.
Experience with SAN storage systems, with emphasis on HPE MSA 2050/2060
Proficiency in system patching and updates using tools like WSUS or MECM.
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, VBScript) for automation and task automation.
What you should expect in this role
Preferred candidate will be in Northern California (Roseville and Gold River, CA) with the possibility of some hybrid remote work.
Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $76,100.00 - $108,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Your role in our mission
- Collaborate with a team of Windows/Intel admins supporting a variety of responsibilities relating to
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS servers to ensure high availability and performance of virtualized environments.
- Administer Microsoft O365 and Exchange environments
- Manage SAN storage systems, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting storage resources.
- Perform system patching and updates on Windows servers and desktops to ensure security and stability.
- Configure and manage MECM for software deployment, patch management, and endpoint protection.
- Windows server administration including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and GPO.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Respond to cybersecurity tools threats and vulnerabilities
- Create and maintain Windows 10/11 images and task sequences (PXE and USB)
- Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for system emergencies and maintenance activities.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to the infrastructure.
