Title: CNC Brake Operator

About the role:
The CNC Brake Operator is responsible for operating and programming CNC brake machines to fabricate metal components according to specifications. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, ensuring quality control, and maintaining equipment.
Key Duties Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC Press Brakes including adjustment and/or replacement of tooling, guides, and fixtures.
Review work order and specifications to determine set up procedure, machine sequence and dimensions of finished workpiece.
Read and interpret provided prints and customer specifications.
Follow K-tecs quality/safety procedures.
Observe/listen to machine to detect malfunctions.
Records information in manufacturing software.
Operate forklift in a safe manner to move product - requires a valid driver license.
Bend metal from .5 lb up to 800 lbs. (cranes available)
Cleans and organizes work area.
Machines you will use: 500/350 Ton CNC Acu press.
Skills/Qualifications
Strong math background and comfort level.
Speak, write, and comprehend conversational English.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience Level: Intermediate Skill Level
