Business Analyst (IT): III (Senior)

Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst (IT): III (Senior) to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be a part of our IT Digital Payments team, focusing on processing high volume payment origination and settlement. Your expertise will contribute to the integration of the bank's most critical applications, ensuring efficient processing for various payment and transfer services.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business issues and provide recommendations for potential solutions, collaborating with Business users and IT teams to define requirements for application development.
Work closely with the Product Manager, EM Experience Owner, and Product Owner to identify impacted teams and estimate efforts related to Epics and Features.
Guide application development efforts by completing Use Cases and User Stories, closely collaborating with development and business teams for successful implementation.
Identify opportunities to enhance application and infrastructure reliability, provide recommendations for possible solutions, and work with IT and Business partners for implementation.
Have a strong understanding of APIs, Real Time Service Calls, and external file transfers.
Analyze compliance vulnerabilities and work with IT and Business teams to eliminate them, support internal and external audit-related activities.
Facilitate Product Backlog Items (PBI) review and estimation sessions with the project team.
Maintain the quality of the Evergreen documentation to ensure reliability for future related efforts or assist with remediating production incidents.
Work with the team to build user stories for developing APIs on REST architecture.
Assist other team members as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

Proficiency in customer service and communication skills
Experience in documentation and compliance procedures
Knowledge of payment processing and quality review processes
Familiarity with external audit procedures and production processes
Experience in implementation and digital solutions
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and integration processes
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and business analysis
Knowledge of REST API principles and decision-making processes
Experience with Microsoft Azure and settlements procedures
Familiarity with application development and JIRA software
Ability to work with business partners and develop validation plans
Experience in API development.
