About the Role

We are looking for an intern for the Winter 2025 (internship to begin as of Jan 2025)

Do you have a passion for governance, risk management, and compliance?

Are you someone who loves technological challenges and wants to contribute to creating a secure and compliant environment for an innovator in Software? We are looking for a Security Analyst Intern to support our dynamic Governance and Compliance team.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of security policies and documentation.
  • Supporting the governance, risk, and compliance team in ensuring adherence to security standards and regulations.
  • Coordinating and documenting security tasks and activities to ensure comprehensive risk management.
  • Participating in the analysis and reporting of compliance status and contributing to the mitigation of governance-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Currently completing a degree in Information Systems Security (Cybersecurity) or a law degree, if the candidate benefits from a strong combination of work experience in governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Passion towards Cybersecurity Governance and Compliance
  • Knowledge of Security Standards and Regulations
  • Interest in Policy Development and Risk Assessment
  • Familiarity or knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and internet protocols
  • Familiarity or knowledge of Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems, mobile devices, and the IT application landscape
  • Familiarity or knowledge of public cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environments and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions
  • Understanding of Threats and Vulnerabilities and of IT and
  • Networking Fundamentals
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
