AZURE INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER
As an Azure Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will help efforts to optimize infrastructure operations, improve automation, and ensure cloud resources meet company needs. The role demands deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Position Location: Atlanta, GA
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Azure Infrastructure Design and Management: Work with team to architect and deploy cloud-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Automation and Optimization: Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like BICEP, ARM templates, or PowerShell to streamline cloud operations and deployments.
- Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Implement monitoring solutions for Azure infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime, and proactively addressing issues before they impact the business.
- Security and Compliance: Implement Azure security best practices, including identity and access management, security configurations, and compliance monitoring to meet company standards and regulations.
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Design and implement DR/BCP solutions, ensuring business continuity and quick recovery in case of failures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development and DevOps teams to support deployment pipelines and best practices.
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, providing rapid response to resolve incidents and minimize downtime.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong understanding of Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, EntraID, WebApps, SQL, Storage Accounts, FrontDoor, and Azure Monitor.
- Automation: Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as BICEP, ARM templates, or equivalent.
- Scripting: Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or other languages for automation tasks.
- Security Knowledge: Expertise in cloud security practices, identity management (Azure AD), and compliance in cloud environments.
- Networking: Deep understanding of Azure networking, VNETs, FrontDoor, and WAF configurations.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement solutions effectively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Azure Cloud environments or hybrid cloud solutions.
- Strong task management and organizational skills.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Requesting 3-5 days in the Atlanta office alongside the Leadership team. Remote work permitted on an as-needed basis throughout the year. Flexibility with schedule around general business hours. Must have reliable internet and familiarity with digital platforms.
