Job Description:
Job Title: TVM Engineer
Location: Remote working EST hours
Pay: $60/hour
Contract: 6 month +
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in remediating vulnerabilities identified through TVM scans and experience in implementing and engineering TVM tools. This role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a remote environment while adhering to East Coast hours.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and manage TVM scans to identify vulnerabilities across the network and systems.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities identified through TVM scans in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement and engineer TVM tools to enhance the security posture of the organization.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of sensitive data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate TVM best practices into all stages of the development lifecycle.
  • Assist in the remediation of PCI vulnerabilities identified during the acquisition of subsidiaries.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents related to vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure our systems remain secure.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equal work experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in threat and vulnerability management, with a focus on remediating vulnerabilities from TVM scans.
  • Proven experience with implementing and engineering TVM tools.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with PCI compliance and remediation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
