This position serves as the Financial Services Programmer and Applications Analyst for CCU s enterprise resource planning software in collaboration with and for all CCU financial services areas. This position also performs integral research and analysis required to prepare project proposals, perform software and systems modifications, and manage new projects.

Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This position may need to employ night and weekend hours to provide systems maintenance activities. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
Duties include, but are not limited to: Responsible for all phases of installation and maintenance of the campus ERP financial services modules. Provides custom programming, application analyst support, and consultation services, and assists in resolving programming/data problems for all financial services teams. This includes responsibility for the analysis, design, programming, testing, debugging and implementation of systems. Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from users regarding errors, problems, or questions about Ellucian ERP system Finance modules and other business-implemented modules. Analyzes, defines and documents, requirements for data, workflow, logical, processes, internal and external checks and controls and outputs. Provides project management and leadership relating to implementation activities; develops, documents and implements project plan. This includes the responsibility for determining how new applications will integrate into the financial system or how new ERP releases will affect current procedures. Provides training and documentation on new and customized programs and procedures to assist Professional staff in the operation of the ERP and related third party software. Evaluates, develops and provides timely reports to the stakeholders as needed.
Required: A high school diploma and work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software. An associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for the required work experience.
Preferred: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. At least three (3) years experience in a related field.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to analyze problems, create, debug, and document code. Thorough understanding of relational database systems. Strong communication and organizational skills; excellent interpersonal skills with users and strong team oriented business approaches and practices. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Project management skills related to managing the work of other departmental resources. The ability to develop and manage complex system projects.
