Job Title: Merchandising and Inventory Management Consultant (Pricing, Allocation & Assortment)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Techno Functional consultant in Merchandising and Inventory Management areas with a strong focus on pricing, allocation and assortment strategies. The ideal candidate will possess 8-10 years of relevant experience in implementing tools for merchandising, pricing, price management and inventory management, with a proven track record of optimizing inventory processes and improving supply chain efficiencies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance inventory performance and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Price Optimization Technologies: Working with the business to gather requirements for developing effective pricing strategies
- Allocation Strategy Development: Work with business to Design and implement effective allocation strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring optimal stock levels across various locations.
- Assortment Planning: Work with business to develop assortment planning initiatives to ensure the right products are available in the right quantities, maximizing sales opportunities and minimizing excess inventory.
- System Implementation: Oversee selection, implementation and optimization of merchandize pricing and inventory management systems and tools, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization. Technical expertise in understanding systems architecture and managing integrations to other systems.
- Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytical skills to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance inventory management processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with merchandising, sales, and logistics teams to develop integrated inventory strategies that support overall business goals.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of inventory strategies, adjusting as needed to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; master s degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in implementing technical solutions for merchandising, inventory management, with a specific focus on allocation and assortment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proven project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading inventory initiatives.
