Job Description:
Informatica and Mulesoft Developer
Required Technical Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of Experience in MuleSoft development, including designing REST and SOAP APIs, and implementing flows using Anypoint Studio.
- Experience with API-led connectivity, API management, and data integration in MuleSoft.
- Knowledge of MuleSoft components like Mule Runtime, Connectors, DataWeave, and API Designer.
- Familiarity with deployment strategies in MuleSoft, including MuleSoft CloudHub and on-premises.
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for ETL and data integration.
- Proficiency in developing complex mappings, tasks, workflows, and process automations.
- Experience with connectors (e.g., REST V2, Salesforce, SQL Server, Oracle) and troubleshooting integration with these sources.
- Understanding of performance tuning, error handling, and session log analysis.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, MySQL).
- Experience with JSON, XML, and data transformation.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and DevOps principles.
- Knowledge of SOAP/REST web services, API security, OAuth, and JWT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) for deploying and managing integration solutions.
- Proficiency in scheduling and managing automated tasks using AWS Lambda, Control-M, Autosys, or cron jobs.
- Knowledge of cloud security and governance practices, including IAM roles and data encryption.
- Strong experience in troubleshooting and resolving data integration issues in production environments for Informatica Cloud (IICS) and MuleSoft.
- Ability to diagnose and address connectivity, performance, and data quality issues, with a focus on root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, AppDynamics) to proactively track integration performance and health.
- Experience setting up alerts and automated notifications for critical integration workflows and jobs.
- Knowledge of incident management processes and experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) for tracking and resolving production issues.
- Understanding of change management best practices, including the ability to provide post-deployment support and rollback strategies when needed.
- Proficiency in documenting troubleshooting steps, resolution processes, and creating support knowledge base articles.
- Ability to assist in developing training materials for end-users and support teams to handle basic troubleshooting.
- MuleSoft Certification (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer).
- Informatica Certification (e.g., Informatica Cloud Data Integration Specialist).
- Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with SAP integration through Informatica and MuleSoft.
- Design and develop complex integration solutions using Informatica Cloud (IICS) and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Develop data mappings, transformations, and workflows to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Configure API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft API lifecycle management.
- Optimize and tune data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Utilize Informatica transformations (Expression, Filter, Lookup, Aggregator, Router, etc.) to optimize data pipelines.
- Diagnose and resolve integration issues and data flow discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in Informatica and MuleSoft environments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, architects, and application teams, to gather requirements and validate integration needs.
- Coordinate with security teams to ensure data compliance and governance, following industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and operational procedures.
- Establish and enforce best practices in data integration, following CI/CD and DevOps principles where applicable.
- Automate data-related processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
- Implement reusable APIs in MuleSoft to standardize and streamline integration across applications.
- Manage and monitor ETL scheduling using tools like AWS Lambda, Control-M, Autosys, or cron jobs to automate data-related tasks.

- Resolve data integration errors, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks within Informatica and MuleSoft environments.
- Act as a primary contact for troubleshooting integration failures and handling incident escalations.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
- Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to address data integration-related queries and provide technical assistance.
- Conduct training sessions or create support documentation to help teams effectively use integration solutions.
- Set up and maintain automated monitoring and alerting for critical data pipelines to ensure high availability.
- Proactively identify and address issues before they impact end-users or data flows.
- Provide post-deployment support for new integrations, ensuring stability and addressing any issues that arise after release.
- Coordinate with the development team to ensure smooth transitions from development to support.
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $55 to $67.50 CAN. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
