Strategic Enterprise Risk Management (SERM), part of independent risk management, is primarily responsible for leading enterprise risk programs, governance, and infrastructure. The function provides an aggregated, integrated, and holistic view and understanding of Wells Fargo's combined risks and helps the company address those risks.

In this role, you will:

The Enterprise Escalation Reporting and Data Analytics Lead leverages data aggregation and analysis to produce extracts and reports for internal and high priority external requests and improves effectiveness of Enterprise Escalation Management reporting to senior leadership, committees, and the Board. Writes and executes SQL scripts to perform data analysis and identify data quality gaps. Executes executive management and Board reporting peer review completeness and accuracy controls. Monitors that the Escalations reporting database accurately reflects Escalations Application data, investigates potential conflicts, and coordinates resolution with the appropriate application and technology partners. Performs business-owned software development lifecycle tasks for new and enhanced Escalation reports (writes user stories, writes and executes user acceptance testing and performs post-production testing). Addresses Escalation reporting user questions; develops and delivers Escalation reporting educational materials. Serves as back-up to fulfill Issues Management data extract/report requests.
  • Lead complex initiatives related to business analysis and modeling, including those that are cross functional, with broad impact, and act as key participant in data aggregation, monitoring, and reporting of stress testing and portfolio analysis for Risk Analytics
  • Review and analyze complex programing models to extract data and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling specific to businesses supported
  • Manage the roll out of pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models for supported businesses and product line
  • Make decisions in complex product strategies, data modeling, and risk exposure, requiring solid understanding of business unit projects and regulatory responses, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead Analytic and Reporting to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, less experienced to more experienced managers, to resolve production, project, and regulatory issues, and achieve risk analysts, and common modeling goals
  • Lead projects, teams, and mentor


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience using SQL Server and writing SQL scripts
  • Experience using the Escalations and Issues Management data
  • Knowledge and understanding of Escalations Application and Escalation Management policy and procedures
  • Agile change management and software development life cycle (SDLC) business implementation experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Issues Management

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
