About Our Client:

Our client is a leading construction company specializing in healthcare, civil, and education projects. They are known for their innovative solutions, commitment to safety, and exceptional project management.

Position: Project Manager

Markets: Healthcare, Civil, Education

Locations: Colorado Springs, Denver, Fort Collins

Salary Range: $130,000 - $165,000 base salary

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall financial health of projects, including subcontracts and suppliers
  • Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections
  • Allocate project estimates into financial systems and manage budgets
  • Approve invoices and make necessary budget decisions
  • Provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment
  • Create monthly owner billings and manage contract buyouts
  • Select and maintain budgets for trade partners and suppliers
  • Lead and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
  • Assign job tasks and manage career development
  • Approve time cards and provide performance feedback
  • Serve as the main point of contact for owners and on-site representatives
  • Assist with reviewing owner agreements and resolving site concerns
  • Build positive relationships through frequent interactions
  • Manage change orders and obtain necessary approvals
  • Maintain project schedule and budget until completion
  • Ensure high-level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years managing large projects ($20M+)
  • Current driver’s license
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
