As a Software Engineer III - Mobile iOS Automation at JPMorgan Chase within the [insert Consumer & Community Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities:
  • Executes creative mobile automation solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Develops secure and high-quality testing automation code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
  • Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
  • Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
  • Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience with Mobile Browser and Mobile Native Application Testing and use of Mobile Cloud Platform (i.e, SeeTest)
  • Proven use of 1 or more mobile development and emulator packages (Android SDK, iOS XCode, SWIFT, Calabash, Appium, GENYmotion)
  • Exposure to commercial mobile manual/automation test management packages (Perfecto, Experitest-SeeTest, MobileLabs, SauceLabs, etc.)
  • Experience with Accessibility Testing (ADA Testing Web/Mobile Native App)
  • Exposure to web technologies -. HTTP, XML, REST, HTML
  • API Automation (Karate, smart spec, Playwright, Cypress, Tosca, ReadyAPI, Postman) and UI Automation (Cypress, Tosca, Playwright, Spec Flow , cucumber)
  • Performance Testing of web and web services/API, PACT Contract Testing
  • MS Power Automate (Robot Process Automation)
  • Manages the development of Test Scenarios and execution of the scenarios across all Testing Phases (IST, Smoke, Functional, Integration, UAT, In-Sprint Automation, UAT, Regression Automation, Production)
  • Experience in implementing Continues Integration using Jenkins and continuous delivery CI/CD
  • Hands-on experience in API testing using JMeter

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Native app testing and Hybrid testing experience
  • Java script/NodeJS/npm
  • Excellent communication skills, plus proven relationship building abilities
