As the Website Lead, your primary responsibilities will include creating an updated website structure in coordination with the client and the Steering Committee using a clone of the 2024 website, while also creating a timeline for website build phases aligned with the submissions deadline and launch dates. You will also be responsible for populating the site with artwork and artist information using existing templates for virtual galleries, artwork posts, and artist pages. responsibilities:
- Creating updated website structure in coordination with the client and the Steering Committee using a clone of the 2024 website.
- Creating a timeline for website build phases aligned with the client submissions deadline and launch dates.
- Populating the site with artwork and artist information using existing templates for virtual galleries, artwork posts, and artist pages.
- Updating artwork gallery themes as needed in coordination with the client's Steering Committee.
- Updating information on key pages (About, Contact, Call for Submissions, Digital Accessibility Guidelines, etc.) in coordination with the client's Steering Committee.
- Adding local shows, events, press coverage, and other content as needed.
- Following University-wide digital accessibility guidelines.
- Working closely with Graphic Design lead to obtain new visuals for the site.
- Working closely with Accessibility lead to ensure that all artworks have appropriate alt text, captions, and transcripts as needed.
- Updating website "How to" guides as needed.
- Reviewing all site pages before going live.
- Ensuring all links are functional before going live.
- Testing site on different devices to ensure responsiveness to varying screen sizes.
- Communicating with CampusPress support to resolve any technical issues.
- Managing Google analytics and generating reports.

- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 6 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors
