Summary
A Human Resource Generalist is responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources in managing employee relations, training and development, and onboarding and offboard functions.
Reviews and approves all discipline, including Warnings, Terminations and Evaluations.
Ensures Onboarding and Offboard is handled accurately and appropriately. May assist with the data processing portion of onboarding, offboarding, and other Team Member position updates.
Performs and/or assists investigations into claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, etc.
This is a full time position.

Ensures Onboarding and Offboard is handled accurately and appropriately. May assist with the data processing portion of onboarding, offboarding, and other Team Member position updates.

Responsibilities
- Ensures Team Member Onboarding is done correctly
- Maintains job postings and ensures accuracy in positions available
- Ensures New Hire Paperwork is complete and accurate
- Trains Managers on necessary documentation, interview skills, etc.
- Managers New Hire Trainings/Orientation
- Ensures New Hire Training/Orientation is up to date
- Ensures New Hire Training/Orientation is completed timely and submitted to HR by Managers
- Ensures Team Member discipline is done correctly
- Warnings
- Evaluations
- Separations
- Trains Managers on correct documentation
- Trains Managers on correct delivery of discipline
- Ensures Team Member Offboarding is done correctly
- Process information in Employee Systems (new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, etc)
- Preforms investigations into claims of discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation
- Assists in Policy and Procedure creation, distribution, and compliance
- Provides assistance for Worker's Compensation needs
- Experience in the Human Resource field, in particular the laws and regulations associated with employment
- Familiar with computers and office type computer programs (spreadsheets, Word, etc)
- Must have effective organization skills
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
- Honest, trustworthy, respectful, and flexible
- Able to travel, if needed
- Familiarity with ADP is beneficial
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Bend and stooping to grasp objects. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation, especially typing.
