As the Senior Project Manager for the Global Payroll Project, you will play an integral part in the success of the HR Transformation Program. The role will work closely with local payroll teams and experts to embed, adopt and implement a global payroll strategy. Your role will be to support the Global Payroll Lead implement the solution into 11 pilot countries, moving from the AS IS way of operation to the new Global model. You will need to align with, and work alongside the Global Transition and Cutover Manager for Onepeople, the Business Program Director and stakeholders. Your remit will cover the day-to-day setup management to ensure the teams are in place, to migrate from the current suppliers and systems to the new ones, and that you, and the Lead are aligned on the Shared Service/ Service Introduction to the HRSS team ready for service commencement. You will report to the HR Sub Program manager and work closely with the other HR Sub Program workstream Leads as required.
Responsibilities:
• Acting as the escalation point and day to day contact for Global Payroll Lead and the HR Business Program Director
• Ensuring that on the ground teams are fully up to date on all program decisions and deliverables in alignment with the One People communication
• Create and manage the plan to ensure HRSS and payroll are operationally ready for each country service commencement
• Finalize the approach to adoption of new processes, technology, and ways of working for the new HR Service
• Act as the SPOC for these teams and interfacing with other HR Sub Program Leads
• Working with the HR Sub Program Manager to ensure the plans are aligned with Organization Design, End to End Process Design, Business Transition, Global HRIS and HRSS workstreams to be clear on dependencies and deliverables
• Weekly Progress Reporting
• Plan, Risk and issue management
