Blew & Associates is seeking a motivated, entry-level Construction Services Technician to support our growing Construction Services division. In this role, you will receive two weeks to a month of comprehensive training and hands-on experience with advanced equipment and methodologies. You'll work with survey-grade GPS, LiDAR scanners, and utility location tools to capture critical information for various construction and engineering projects.

Blew & Associates is seeking a motivated, entry-level Construction Services Technician to support our growing Construction Services division. In this role, you will receive two weeks to a month of comprehensive training and hands-on experience with advanced equipment and methodologies. You'll work with survey-grade GPS, LiDAR scanners, and utility location tools to capture critical information for various construction and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct underground utility location using specialized equipment
- Operate survey-grade GPS units for precise data collection
- Use various types of LiDAR scanners to capture building information and site layouts
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure accuracy in construction documentation
- Conduct fieldwork in a range of environments, primarily supporting projects involving new construction, renovations, and infrastructure development
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education preferred
- Background in construction, electrical, plumbing, or a related trade
- Strong understanding of construction processes for diverse facilities and systems
- Ability to learn and operate advanced technology, including GPS and LiDAR equipment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience with surveying, utility location, or similar fieldwork
- Basic understanding of CAD software or GIS systems
- Physical ability to perform field duties in various outdoor conditions
