Microsoft Azure AI/ML Infrastructure Specialist

Our client, located in Washington, D.C., is in need of a Microsoft Azure AI/ML Architect for a 6 month contract with potential for extensions. The consultant will work remotely with another cloud architect in a niche capacity within an 80 person engineering team, to support the client's Azure/IaaS GovCloud environment, driving integration of AI technologies such as Azure AI and OpenAI, to provide chat and search capabilities while ensuring data protection. The consultant will be responsible for working on the configuration of new instances, implementing chat & search related functions across the infrastructure, automating deployment with the CI/CD pipeline using Terraform or Ansible, and providing ongoing support for tenants using the environment.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience working with Cloud/Azure technologies
  
• 5+ years of experience architecting cloud solutions
  
• Experience integrating Azure AI/ML technologies such as Azure AI, OpenAI
  
• Experience automating IaaS environments using Ansible, Terraform
  
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks i.e., TensorFlow, Pytorch
  
• Strong networking security experience
  
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification
  
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  
• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with senior leadership

Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:

• Microsoft Azure AI/ML certification or the willingness to obtain one
  
• Experience with Kubernetes or other containerization platforms
  
• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, Bash
