The Role at a Glance

This position is for a Director / Engineering Chapter Lead with experience in Client Communication Management (CCM) along with Life and Annuity Payout Processing. CCM responsibilities include management and oversight for Life and Annuity end-customer contract related communications across the entire policy life cycle. This would include technology ownership for a variety of CCM processing platforms. In addition, the position would provide technical leadership within the Life and Annuity payout space across both strategic and legacy applications. This position provides leadership to both internal employees and managed service resources, setting strategic direction across areas of responsibilities while ensuring internal stakeholder requirements are fully met. This position will provide technical leadership, subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. This position will function as a technology leader in the architecture design, planning, delivery of enterprise CCM and Payout platforms and services.

  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across the department for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Partners with stakeholders and business leaders to ensure that systems are designed, developed and implemented from a business point of view.
  • Keep current with industry best practices and actively analyzes to ensure that we are making the best decisions for the enterprise.
  • Strong Written and verbal communication skills


What we're looking for

Must-Haves
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) (Minimum Required)
  • 7+ Years experience in Information Technology that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position, including 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience. (Required)


Knowledge of the following:
  • Client Communications Management platforms, xPression preferred.
  • Life and Annuity processing fundamentals
  • Managed Service Provider oversight
  • AWS Cloud fundamentals

The pay range for this position is $105,301 - $190,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
